About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Manager to join our team based at our Hope Valley site.
This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control, ensuring best practise rigour and process. Detailed responsibilities of this role include to:
- Lead best practice inventory management processes and controls
- Ensure stock movements align with schedule and resolve inventory-related issues
- Manage and execute stocktakes and investigations
- Ensure ERP stock levels are correct and work with the wider team to resolve variances as required
- Physical control and governance of raw materials and finished goods
- Identify and trouble shoot root-cause issues
- Build close relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration, drive alignment and understanding of business requirements and operational challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute appropriate process improvements
- Ensure key governance and controls are appropriately embedded and maintained, particularly in relation to high-risk areas such as stock control and cost management
About you
As a capable Inventory Manager, you will be a professional with over 10 years of experience who can efficiently align our inventory management processes with the dynamic needs of our production operations. In addition to this, you will require:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related (desirable)
- Proven experience as an inventory manager, preferably in a high volume and/or manufacturing environment
- Exceptional inventory management skills
- Business partnering across all functional areas
- ERP and production system experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Commitment to make process improvements to achieve best results for the business
