Job Description
Tip Top is on the lookout for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our Chullora and Charmhaven Bakeries. Contribute to the effective management and continuous improvement of the Tip Top business through the development, implementation and maintenance of policies, systems and procedures in the areas of Food Safety, GMP, Quality Systems, Product Quality and NPD. Additionally, this role will provide leadership, coaching and resource to site leaders to ensure the safety and quality of all products manufactured by Tip Top sites.
About the role
- Ensure product food safety and quality standards are met
- Key member of the Site Operational leadership team
- Working collaboratively with the site team to achieve targets and milestones in Food Safety & Quality
- Provide leadership, coaching and development to QA Site Partner
- Manage Internal Audit program
- Assist in approved supplier program when required
- Manage external audit program for sites including close out of nonconformances
- Provide accurate and timely reports to site and regional management
About you
- Varied Food Industry experience (usually 5+ years)
- Degree in a Food Science / Food Technology
- Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change and process improvement
- Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally
- Able to provide insight and quickly identify a way forward when presented with issues
- Proven experience identifying and deploying process improvements
- Demonstrated resilience and ability to quickly engage with change
- A tertiary qualification in food science or related discipline
