About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse & Distribution Team Leader to join our Northam flour mill.
This is a hands‑on operational leadership role responsible for coordinating warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, transport execution and third‑party logistics support across our Northam mill and Malaga warehouse.
You will lead a small warehouse team and act as the primary point of contact for logistics providers, ensuring safe, efficient and customer‑focused outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching and allocating work for a team of Warehouse Operators
- Managing inwards goods, stock discrepancies and maintaining accurate warehouse records
- Oversight of packaging, consumables and ingredient movements
- Managing key contractors and service providers, including 3PLs
- Liaising with suppliers and delivery sites to resolve delivery or quality issues
- Monthly visits to warehouse in Malaga
About You
You're a confident warehouse leader who is comfortable setting direction, managing priorities and holding people and partners accountable. You balance strong relationships with clear expectations.
You will bring:
- Proven experience leading a warehouse or distribution team
- Strong working knowledge of SAP
- Experience working with 3PLs and transport providers
- Forklift licence (preferred) and confidence operating equipment when required
- A background in food or manufacturing is preferred - food safety knowledge is advantageous but can be trained
