AusPac Ingredients and CCD Animal Health are seeking to appoint a full-time member to assist with all Quality Assurance and Regulatory tasks, an exciting opportunity requiring a highly organised and meticulous candidate.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the QA Assistant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and standards, conducting internal audits, performing service provider and supplier risk assessments, and managing related documentation.
Key responsibilities of the role are:
- Performing risk assessments (assessing product information, validating test results, verifying accreditation)
- Processing import permits and managing documentation (product specifications, safety data sheets)
- Processing product samples to meet quality expectations
- Conducting QA investigations (investigating deviations, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions)
About You
- A relevant qualification in Quality Assurance or equivalent work experience.
- An understanding of quality assurance processes, preferably in a regulatory or compliance focused role.
- Knowledge of industry quality systems and HACCP principles is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, data analysis, observation and analytical thinking skills.
- The ability to work with competing priorities, whilst maintaining a high attention to detail.
