About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our team based at our Enfield site on a max term contract covering a period of parental leave until January 2028.
This position plays a critical role in the Weston Animal Nutrition (WAN) finance division. As WAN's Finance Analyst you'll drive continuous improvement, consistency, credibility and accuracy in the delivery of business objectives.
Main responsibilities of this role include:
- Support AusPac and CCD Animal Health through month-end activities including the consolidation of results and reconciliation of financial data.
- Prepare and deliver financial reporting, analysis and presentations for stakeholders across the business, providing insights to support operational and commercial decision-making.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, costing and financial review activities to ensure accurate financial planning and performance management.
- Support reporting and compliance activities, including controller packs, tax-related reviews, purchase-to-pay compliance, governance and internal controls.
- Drive continuous improvement through the standardisation and enhancement of finance reporting processes, systems and controls
About you
As self-motivated and passionate Finance professional, you will have proven experience in a relevant role (ideally in manufacturing), with exposure to demand planning, pricing, budgeting and forecasting.
You will either be CA or CPA qualified, and hold a tertiary qualification in Commerce, Economics or a related field. In addition to this you will require:
- 3 years of experience in financial accounting, management accounting or business analysis roles.
- Experience in using SAP or another ERP system and possess advanced Excel skills.
- Tableau would be highly regarded, as would use of Power BI, Salesforce and/or Alteryx.
- Proactive attitude, always looking for opportunities to add value
- Strong communication skills, with the ability and confidence to build relationships
- Analytical ability and appetite for problem solving
- Accuracy and eye for detail
