About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mill Technician to join our team based at our Enfield animal feed mill. You will be working with a small team to ensure smooth running of animal feed production and help us maintain a high standard of quality.
This role has a base hourly rate range of $39-$49 (inclusive of loading & allowances) plus superannuation.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Monitor production and batching process through mill control systems
- Initiate Feedsafe declarations
- Monitor whole grain and liquid additions
- Ensure all raw materials received meet specified standards
- Ensure plant is running correctly and is in safe working order
About you
As a successful candidate, you will have the following:
- Advanced Feed Milling qualification, Food Processing diploma, Cereal Milling course or equivalent (desirable)
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Stockfeed Milling
- Hands on approach to troubleshooting minor machine issues
- Knowledge of ISO/HACCP and Feedsafe requirements
- Communicate and work effectively with other members as a team
- Knowledge of and commitment to health and safety work practices
