About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical & Monogastric Animal Nutritionist. This role blends advanced technical capability with strategic commercial understanding, ensuring feed solutions deliver measurable improvements in performance, profitability, welfare, and sustainability. Acting as a key contributor to Weston Animal Nutrition's broader strategy, the role influences product innovation, customer outcomes, and organisational capability.

In this role, you will lead technical strategy, oversee feed formulation and quality systems, and provide high‑level customer and market engagement. You will partner closely with sales, operations, and customers, offering scientific guidance and troubleshooting support. This position requires strong leadership, the ability to translate complex data into practical solutions, and the capability to build trusted relationships across customers, internal teams, and industry stakeholders.

About You

The suitable candidate will possess:

• MSc or PhD in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science or related discipline
• 5–10+ years' industry experience in monogastric nutrition (feed formulation, technical or commercial roles)
• Strong customer‑facing capability with proven commercial judgement
• Able to translate complex nutrition science into practical, value‑adding solutions
• Strong understanding of feed‑mill operations, GMP, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Commercially astute with experience in cost modelling, financial insights, and value‑proposition development.
