About the Role
We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Quality Coordinator to join the team in Camellia. In this role, you will support the daily operations of the Quality Department at Camellia, ensuring consistent quality products are being manufactured and delivered to our customers.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the primary responsibilities of this role will include to:
- Review, maintain and improve existing quality and food safety systems.
- Maintenance of laboratory supplies and equipment with regular testing and calibration.
- Support Quality assurance activities to FSSC 22000, BRC, HACCP, GMP, internal audits and customer standards.
- Analysing products and providing timely and accurate results to Customers, Quality, Production, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Supporting the operations team to ensure consistent quality products are being manufactured and delivered to our customers.
- Analyse and verify finished products to comply with internal and customer standards.
- Record testing data in an accurate and timely manner.
- Manage process for non-conforming product and customer complaints, lead investigations as required and implementation of corrective actions with the team.
The suitable candidate will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role with high volume FMCG environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Microbiology, Food Science or a related technical discipline
- Good understanding of quality systems and food safety standards such as GFSI and HACCP
- Proactive and hands-on attitude
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders
- Strong computer skills including SharePoint and Microsoft Word/Excel skills
- Keep safety and efficiency as a priority within their work
