An exciting opportunity is available for a Site Leader to join our Camellia site in a full-time, permanent role. Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing and a member of our senior operations leadership team, this role is responsible for the direction and oversight of the end-to-end yeast manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Strong leadership of a diverse workforce; driving engagement, development and mentoring.
- Provide the leadership, structure and resources to improve safety and engagement to best-in-class levels.
- Drive increased productivity and output through a culture of continuous improvement and organisational alignment.
- Joint accountability for Camellia business outcomes, culture implementation and operational management.
- Develop and maintain relationships and strategies with all key stakeholders within the community to promote our ongoing commitment to the environment.
- An open and collaborative relationship with Commercial and Technical teams to ensure specifications and expectations are always exceeded.
- Maintain strong relationships with Quality personnel to ensure a team approach to quality and food safety management is in place.
- Active contribution & collaboration with the Mauri Operations Leadership Team.
About You:
You are an inspirational leader passionate about team development, mentoring and driving site engagement. An operational background, particularly in FMCG, is critical, and a demonstrated understanding of Yeast processing and equipment is ideal. Formal qualifications in business management training, yeast brewing and engineering (chemical) is advantageous. Ideally, you will have high adaptability, strong commercial acumen and strong problem-solving skills.
You will need to manage ambiguity and build strong stakeholder relationships. We require a continuous improvement mindset that proactively looks for improvement initiatives at our site.
