About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join the team.
Reporting to the National Logistics Manager, in this important role you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and completing inbound commodity (grain) & outbound (millrun) delivery schedules effectively, sourcing accurate information to optimise supply chain and production effectiveness in accordance with legislation, regulations, company policies, quality standards and customer specifications.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Working collaboratively with the supply chain team and external bulk handlers, growers and freight carrier to plan and optimise a cost-effective execution of stocks into the mill
- Monitoring and activating actions to complete Chain of Responsibility requirements for inbound raw materials & outbound millrun.
- Undertaking scheduling activities in line with approved safety, hazards, and hygiene practices and in accordance with Mauri and GWF standards
- Providing the National Logistics Manager with progress updates, identifying and escalating issues and problems promptly to source effective solutions
- Understanding and optimising interfaces between different work areas
- Accurately interpreting and following operational procedures and specific instructions
- Completing records and documentation promptly, accurately, and completely
- Continually seeking improvements to inbound & outbound scheduling & planning activities
About You
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you can demonstrate quality supply chain experience in planning and scheduling, backed up by a relevant logistics or operational scheduling qualification (Cert IV or Diploma).
You will have a sound working knowledge of logistics scheduling systems (AgriChain) and software, as well as an understanding of safe work practices and a commitment to applying them. It would be an advantage if your experience was in the FMCG industry, but this is not essential.
We will also be looking for:
