Reporting to the Field Service Manager, we are currently looking for a National Merchandiser Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting field sales leadership with communication and engagement of the merchandising team as well as supporting merchandisers with systems and technical requirements. This newly created role is flexible to be based within Australia.
Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of the role of the National Merchandiser Coordinator is to be responsible for supporting field sales leadership with communication and engagement of the merchandising team as well as supporting merchandisers with systems and technical requirements. The role;
- Manages cross-functional relationships with other key departments to ensure that overall merchandising initiatives are communicated, implemented, and results are shared in a timely manner
- Develop and implement communications and engagement plans within the Merchandiser group
- Establish national merchandising database for current employees of essential information and ensure the records are updated in systems
- Provide training and onboarding on required systems and applications relevant to Merchandiser role
- Work with Field Sales team to implement improvement initiatives to improve merchandiser engagement, safety and workforce planning
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant experience in a Field Sales support role or similar
- Strong administration and systems knowledge
- Ability to build long-term partnering relationships with stakeholders at all levels; highly collaborative and consultative in approach
- Ability to manage and prioritise different tasks
- Ability to provide insight and quickly identify a way forward when presented with issue
