Are you a passionate and empathetic Sales Leader looking for your next challenge? Tip Top Bakeries is seeking their next Head of Field Sales to play a critical sales leadership role. You will be a member of the Sales Executive Team, Sales Leadership Team, and will work collaboratively in partnering with internal functions as well as being an essential contact point for developing business partnerships with customers externally.
Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of the role of the Head of Field Sales Position is to be responsible for achieving the company's sales, profit and customer objectives while leading a team of Field Sales, Sales Operations and Customer Service employees (approximately 850 employees).
- Drive a customer centric approach to ensure that quality, service, and sales are maximised and professional relationships are established and maintained with customers
- Monitor and deliver the sales targets for the Field Sales Team
- Provide the leadership, structure, and resources to improve and drive safety culture
- Successful execution of business plans and major customer strategies
- Management of merchandising and field sales overheads to budget
- Builds a strong culture of positive individual and team behaviours and drives high levels of engagement
- Demonstrate energy and passion for the overall vision and direction of the company
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 10 years+ in a Senior sales role within a similar FMCG environment
- Demonstrated ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally
- A strong safety mindset to lead and promote a focus on a behavioural safety culture
- Proven effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change, and process improvement
- Influential and credible level of skill, executed consistently through fact based compelling business proposals
- Passion to maximise sales results through identifying and acting on business opportunities
