Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager, the HSE Business Partner/Senior HR Advisor supports the Health, Safety and Environment function across our Chullora and Charmhaven Tip Top sites with the role predominantly based at our Chullora bakery. The role partners closely with the site leadership teams and other key stakeholders to influence and implement site specific HSE initiatives.
Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of the HSE Business Partner is to work collaboratively with the site to drive continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environment and implement initiatives to drive best practice risk management.
- Building trusting relationships with site leaders and key stakeholders through initiating conversations about safety impacts and best practice
- Ensuring all HSE State Regulations are complied with, process reviews and continuous improvement activities
- Partnering with the leadership teams in preparing site HSE audits; providing recommendations and driving ownership for the site action plan; and supporting the leadership team to close out corrective actions
- Injury Management - Investigate incidents and patterns identified as appropriate and oversee the effective implementation of the program
- Brief and support site managers and operations leaders on HSE issues
- Risk assessments and audits
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a HSE role within a site based or high-risk capacity
- Food manufacturing/FMCG industry experience will be highly regarded
- Tertiary Qualification in Health and Safety, Allied Health, Occupational Hygiene or Environmental Sciences preferred
- Exceptional communications skills with experience of engaging effectively across a wide range of stakeholders
- The ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic and fast paced environment with a high level of resilience
