About the Role
We are advertising for Expressions of Interest for a Qualified Flour Miller (experience in food production) to join MAURI in 2021 (multiple sites nationally).
You will be responsible for the effective and safe running of the flour mill which includes milling, packing, and any associated processes; ensuring we are delivering on customer quality compliance and operating in a cost effective & timely manner.
You will be a senior operative at the mill who is engaged with the operation of a complex production process. You will enjoy ensuring production is running at optimal performance levels, ensuring all products are in specification, meeting productivity standards and the continuous efficiency of equipment.
In addition, you will manage the cleaning and maintenance programs for all site mill equipment whilst maintaining a safe and healthy work environment which complies with all company policies and procedures.
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- NABIM Milling Certificate or any equivalent qualification (City of Guilds) is desirable
- Proven experience leading a team and coordinating workflow, prioritising tasks and motivating other team members to meet high performance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focused attitude
- Knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (BRC) would be an advantage
- Strong commitment to a safe working environment
- Able to lead and work as part of a team across departments
- Effective communication and relationship skills are essential
- Valid working rights for Australia
