About the Role

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Warehouse and Distribution Supervisor to join our team in Enfield NSW, being responsible for distribution on the Enfield manufacturing site. Our ideal candidate will be a strong leader who takes a proactive and hands-on approach in guiding the warehouse team to achieve the customer centric goals & strategies of our business.  You will ensure the efficient and effective management of capital, resources and equipment in line with all company and divisional plans and objectives. In addition, you will also develop Warehouse and distribution plans, policies and strategies that will assist with the achievement of objectives and have a process improvement mindset, looking for efficiencies and making safety improvements whenever possible.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Ensuring policies and procedures are in place to support resource control including capital and equipment, quality assurance, OHS & CoR compliance, HACCP / BRC compliance, pallet management etc.
• Managing Vendor performance to meet agreed KPI's.
• Recruit, train and develop Warehouse and Distribution team members ensuring defined roles and responsibilities exist for all warehouse staff. Carry out performance reviews and ensure that relevant team members have development plans recorded in line with Company objectives and policies. (Ensure that all team members have completed required Company training & compliance programs e.g. Walk Safe, CoR etc).
• Ensure P&L targets are met, KPI's measured, weekly reports delivered, budgets, cost control and project implementation are in line with plans and strategies on the site level.
• Ensure regular contact with key client contacts, including review meetings and KPI reporting.

About you

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Warehouse and or distribution supervisor in a similar environment, exceptional communication skills, superior prioritisation skills and proven leadership experience; with a strong understanding on how to motivate their team to achieve results and meet business requirements.  You will also have:

• SAP experience
• Freight Management
• COR working knowledge
• Certificate 4 in Warehousing and Distribution
• Intermediate Excel skills
• and strong negotiation skills
