About the Role
An excellent opportunity is available for a highly astute Commercial Business Partner to support the National Sales Manager Craft & Distributors (C&D) team within the MAURI business. You will be responsible for evaluating markets and the effect this has on the MAURI C&D commercial proposition on price. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a role focused on understanding, challenging and measuring assumptions in price and volume as well as developing and embedding a business partnering framework that supports commercial strategy and decision making for the craft, distributor and regional manufacturer channels. In addition, you will lead and deliver insightful financial forecasts and considered reporting activities for these channels.
This includes preparing customer and product pricing, calculating and maintaining pricing files for all ingredients into the C&D channel, providing management reports, budgets and forecasts related to sales volumes, price and margins, analysing results based on key business drivers and providing meaningful commentary, and evaluating projects and business plans for key customers and products.
Another key aspect to this role will be supporting debtor management and credit control to the channel, preparing weekly performance reports as well as month-end sales reporting pack with insights into variances and trends to all reporting.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, well developed problem solving/analytical skills and role model active leadership of our safety culture. You will have previous experience working in a business partnering role as a commercial or business analyst and experience supporting commercial decision making. You will also have Advanced Excel (Power Pivot/Power BI), some exposure/knowledge to Tableau and SAP and tertiary qualifications in Commerce/Economics, CA/CPA/CIMA qualified.
Highly effective communication and relationship skills are essential to your success as you will be required to interact with all parts of the business and customers/internal stakeholders on a frequent basis to deliver business outcomes.
You will also have the confidence to make quick decisions if required and put clear actions into place to proactively address challenges when they arise.
