About the Role
A great opportunity is presently available for a highly experienced and commercially savvy Head of Financial Planning, Reporting & Strategy to lead a team of 3 people and take ownership for the FP&A functions and lead the development of the strategic planning framework for MAURI.
This is a highly visible role within the organisation where you work closely with the Director of Finance & Strategy to lead the development of the strategic framework for the business as well as the assessment and execution of specific strategic initiatives.
The role is responsible for the day to day reporting obligations of Mauri and leads a team who consistently add valuable reporting insights across all lines of businesses and ensure that all Corporate, Statutory and ABF financial reporting requirements are met.
You will lead the monthly business performance review process and proactively drive personal growth and development of your team members ensuring they are empowered and can deliver business goals.
Working across the business, the role is responsible for driving simplified, fit for purpose and standardised financial processes as well as managing all financial governance and compliance initiatives.
As a key member of the Finance function, you will enjoy working constructively with the Operating Business Units to develop the commercial and operational assessment of strategic opportunities, conducting market and competitor analysis and generally supporting the leadership teams with strategy development by providing strategic insights and managing the strategic planning process across MAURI ANZ to ensure sound evaluation and successful execution.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, highly effective communication skills, well developed business partnering and stakeholder management skills and experience working in strategy development and strategic planning. You will also be highly skilled in business case development and modelling (assumption based DCF models within Excel and other applications) and have a continuous improvement mindset where you will be willing to re-engineer processes to achieve more efficient and considered outcomes.
You will also have the ability to identify issues and problem solve in a complex commercial environment and have sound understanding of SAP (or similar ERP system). Degree qualifications, CA/CPA qualifications, an analytical and problem-solving mindset and change management experience are also essential to the role.
