About the Opportunity
The Tip Top Category team is responsible for identifying and building long-term Category growth strategies along with managing the short-term 12 month Go-To-Market activities. It is responsible for evolving the shopper/retailer/manufacturer relationship to realise growth at a category level through sharing a common understanding of shopper behaviour with our customer partners.
Reporting to the National Category Manager, the Category Analyst is an integral part of this team responsible for supporting the Category Team in bringing to life Category Plans, Space Plans and Shopper Marketing initiatives within Tip Top through actively turning data into insights to drive fact based actions.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Category Analyst to join a highly regarded and valued team within one of Australia's largest food manufacturers. This will suit someone with a strong desire to deliver results and grow within our business.
Your love of data and ability to mine and drill into external data sources to obtain meaningful and useful insights to support the Category team's growth strategies is essential. You will be a strong communicator who will confidently interact with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business outcomes. You will also have proven analytical and problem solving skills, and be comfortable making decisions and putting clear action plans in place to pro-actively address issues.
As an experienced analyst, you will have a thorough understanding of Nielsen data and ideally a good understanding of Aztec. You will be technically minded with excellent skills in the MS Office suits of programs and a good understanding of space management / analytical tools including Apollo, JDA, Prospace is desirable.
