An exciting newly developed opportunity has become available within our finance team for a NSW Operations Controller (Commercial Manager – Supply Chain) to join our team to support 4 sites across NSW and lead a team of 2. The Operations Controller supports our NSW Supply Chain leaders in delivering the best practice execution of our financial controllership and compliance processes, capital management, strategic project planning/analysis and financial business partnering on cost management and related initiatives.
In this role you will oversee the preparation of robust forecasts and budgets for the NSW operations
and provide clear insights on variances to these plans and related risks and opportunities. In addition, you will also provide insights to support our tendering and innovation processes, embed an aligned S&OP process for the NSW operations and take an active leadership approach to build a team of highly capable and accountable people who can deliver our business goals.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, highly effective communication skills and prior experience in a management accounting, commercial management or financial business partner role (ideally with an Operational Focus). You will have highly developed influencing and interpersonal skills as well as strong attention to detail, high levels of resilience and the ability to impact change in a complex working environment.
You will also have exceptional change leadership skills as you will be expected to support the operations team in a cultural change journey to drive greater operational efficiencies and improving overall team engagement.
Advanced MS Excel skills and relevant tertiary qualifications are essential to the role and exposure to Tableau and SAP will be highly desirable.
