About the Opportunity
The Tip Top Category team is responsible for identifying and building long-term Category growth strategies along with managing the short-term 12 month Go-To-Market activities. It is responsible for evolving the shopper/retailer/manufacturer relationship to realise growth at a category level through sharing a common understanding of shopper behaviour with our customer partners.
Reporting to the National Category Manager, the Category Manager is critical to achieving category growth through the continuous identification of opportunities. You will work collaboratively, partnering with retailers and National Account Managers to develop an intimate understanding of your category, the retailer's role within it and the retailer's business plan.
Your ability to bring to life insights from external data sources, backed up by your analytical but pragmatic approach will be essential. Your experience and understanding of the retail environment is critical, FMCG experience will be highly regarded but is not essential. You will have a thorough understanding of Nielsen and Aztec data and have demonstrated success working in an agile, fast paced environment, strong communication and true collaboration skills.
