About the Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Chemistry Analyst is currently available in our AB Mauri team, based at North Ryde. You will enjoy delivering analytical testing services for the Scientific Services Department and support the chemistry team leader in the delivery of a comprehensive Analytical Technical Service to AB Mauri Global Technology Group and its global operational customer base.
This role will see you involved in the chemical analysis of yeast, yeast fermentation biproducts and yeast process related samples is executed a variety of techniques covering wet chemistry, HPLC, GC, instrumental protein and NIR analysis and you will conduct regular preparation and evaluation of standard powders and solutions, including solution stability measurements.
In addition, you will ensure validation of methods carried out are using set protocols and ensure results are analysed, interpreted and reports are prepared as required in a clear and concise manner which draw on conclusions for non-specialists.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in industrial chemistry, HPLC experience, exposure to Analytical Standards management, strong task management and teamwork skills and high attention to detail and a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar capacity.
In addition, you will have superior communication skills, strong computer skills, yeast and fermentation chemistry experience and ideally tertiary qualifications such as a Bachelor of Science.
