About the Role
An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Development Manager (Bread & Enzyme Technology) to lead MAURI category specific Research & Development programs. This role will see you managing a team of 2 and contributing to MAURI's strategic focus on customers and consumers specific goals. You will be responsible for building an understanding of what will drive the development of insight and technology led product solutions for launch, identifying product improvements because of new market knowledge and proactively building relationships with key stakeholders.
You will enjoy working to enhance the delivery of innovative solutions and contributing to the development and implementation of customer and or category focused innovation forums to bring the ‘food our customers love' to life and support INOV8 (Innovation Process) with process compliance, project tracking and management of Research and Development resources.
Ideally you will have completed relevant tertiary qualifications (Masters in Food Technology, Science, Business or Marketing) and Knowledge of grain based foods manufacturing processes with broad food industry exposure including a sound understanding of bread ingredient technology. In addition, you will have great commercial awareness, strong consultative skills and exceptional project management skills. Baking or milling qualifications is advantageous.

This role will be North Ryde based in our Test Baking Facility and you will be provided with a free parking spot. Our business is looking to relocate the lab to another site in a location in Sydney within the next 12-18 months.
