We have an amazing opportunity for this newly created role of Hygiene & Site Services Manager position based at our Canning Vale site. Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading our internal hygiene and services team as well as managing various contractors to ensure all internal standards are met.
Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of the role of Hygiene & Site Services Manager is to lead all activities associated with all site-based products with respect to GMP and HAACP principles and site sanitation including:
- A “hands on” approach to management and coordination of hygiene team members, contractors and our production team
- Management of effective hygiene and sanitisation activities across the site
- Collaborate effectively across the site with maintenance, production and planning to schedule hygiene and pest control plans
- Management and coordination of site services including pest control, chemical management, QA pre-requisite programs, GHP & GMP and employee uniforms
- Form a partnership with the Quality business partners to ensure effective management of standards at the site to meet all audit standards and drive improvements
- Effectively liaise professionally with internal and external customers and stakeholders
- Identify and actively promote continuous improvement to product, processes, and systems within any facet of the work environment
- Coach and mentor staff and address staff performance issues as required utilising appropriate company procedures
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a FMCG environment
- Strong understanding of GMP principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change and process improvement
