Job Description

MAURI has an extensive presence in commercial livestock Animal Nutrition across the region. Our Animal Nutrition segment is a core focus of the MAURI business & comprises approximately 30% of our business with feed manufacturing facilities in Sydney, Perth and Rangiora. Our total sales volumes are in excess of 400,000 tonnes per annum to a range of large and small commercial livestock producers.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a HR Business Partner (Projects) to join our team on a part-time basis (22.8 hours – days as agreed with Manager) on a 2-year fixed term contract in WA.  You will play an integral role in delivering the people related project activities associated with the transformational change project, which will see our business create a new Greenfields site and transitioning our feed mill production from Bentley to Hope Valley. You will be required to deliver the people related project activities including setting up the new site for success, managing the closure of the current site and transitioning of our people.  This will also require the individual to be prepared to work in Bentley and transition with the rest of the workforce to the new site at Hope Valley; once the new mill is operational.

Reporting to the Integration Manager in Bentley and working closely with the P&P Manager for Animal Nutrition in Sydney, the role will be a blend of Human Resources ‘best practice' processes, and an understanding of change management; recommending solutions for the best way forward with our people agenda.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities using tools to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
• Support the design, development, delivery, and management of people impacting communications.
• Conduct impact analyses assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
• Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
• Identify, analyse, and prepare risk mitigation tactics.

About You

Ideally you will have proven experience working in a similar HR Advisory/Partnering role within an manufacturing environment, ‘know-how' to drive high engagement and transition to ‘constructive' culture, demonstrated skills in planning and delivering effective communications (internal & external stakeholders), and experience in driving the people elements of large-scale change projects.  You will also have solid understanding and implementation of ER practices working within the parameters of the Site EBA, supporting a blue-collar work force and ensuring good ER practices are designed and implemented in the new site.

In addition, you will enjoy driving team engagement and provide energy to a team that is going through major transformation, can demonstrate inclusive leadership by enabling accountability and ownership and proactively calling on their views and input and challenging any bias.
